So let\u2019s use this time to create the future we want.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/>Ask yourself, \u201cAm I Working to Live or Living to Work?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br \/><strong>Let\u2019s change &#8211; do what you want to do and Work to Live!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Lockdown Tips\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make a personal list of all the things you want to do aka a bucket list. Remember, be realistic!<\/li>\n<li>If you run a business, carry out a mini assessment. How has your business been performing? Is it the way you thought it would be? What would you change? Now, create a plan of action and then make a start.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>If you are in a job, are you happy? are you doing what you enjoy? would you like to learn something new? if you are not enjoying your job, take this time to really think about what you want to do and make a plan of action &#8211; change your job, start a business or choose further education. Make your decision and put your action plan in motion.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips for Businesses\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>You need to adapt your business so that it can carry on in full or in some form. In doing this, you are choosing to survive Covid-19; you have taken control of your future and I am sure you are no longer as stressed and anxious as you was before you took this step.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Future is Digital \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>For most of us, the use of computers, tablets and phones is like having another limb. We can not live without it. Even nurseries are giving iPads to 2 year olds to use so we really can\u2019t avoid Technology or deny a use for it.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>A lot of us are already using Technology &#8211; Facebook, Watsapp, Instagram and Snapchat.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>How can we use Technology for business?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>You need to check what tools you are currently using and what other tools are available that could help you to work more digitally. By doing this, you can free up your time which can be used to make more money or improve your end user\u2019s experience.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>As an accountant, I recently came across Zoom. Zoom is a tool that offers a replacement to face to face meetings so its perfect; it saves time, it\u2019s convenient and it\u2019s free for meetings of forty minutes or less. You can download the app, and see &amp; talk to each other using your computer or tablet. We all know that technology has enabled us to communicate via emails, watsapp, Facebook etc. &#8211; it\u2019s quick, it\u2019s easy and it\u2019s real-time. Document sharing has also never been easier. Storage facilities such as One Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive are real time so sharing is instant and you save time and money by not having to drop off or post documents and paperwork.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do it now\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Use Technology to create a working environment that means you can work with or without the need for physical human interaction.
